Henry and Malcolm

Since moving to Madison, Henry, Malcolm's cousin, and Malcolm spend lots of time together and I just wanted to share a few pictures out of many with everyone.

Here's a cart race down the hallway with the help of our dogs, Thor and Molly. And, Tom with the boys and Thor in the backyard. They are taking a break after pulling weeds!

Trip to Washington

(I figured that since I'm behind, it wouldn't hurt to catch up a bit more.) We went to Lummi Island in Washington for a friend's wedding and then went to see my sister Kenleigh and her husband. Erik and their new little boy, Cole. We had a great time there. We went to the zoo where Malcolm saw lots of animals and fell in love with Zeebees (Zebras), Gaffs (Giraffes) and Hippos. We also hung out on the beaches, saw "big, big boats" (in Malcolm's words) in the ocean, went to the dog park and on walks, went to the fair where he got to pet some animals in their petting zoo. He loved it - running from one animal to another. He was convinced that a sheep was a cow, however, since it had a spot.and more! Malcolm loved his Aunt Kenkee and his Uncle Ik and Baby Cooole, and their dogs Coop! and Duddee. We are hoping to see them all again soon.

Adventures

Recently, we've had two big adventures. First, we went to Boston for Tom's mother's 70th birthday! We had a great time together with all the cousins, goofing off, playing at the park, and of course, eating at Dunkin Donuts or Dunky's as the locals call it. The picture to the left is some, but not all of the Ferguson cousins and their Grammer's.

Then, when we got back, Shannon's mom was here for a week for a visit. The picture on the right is of Malcolm, Henry and their Grammie Mibbie in the beloved double stroller. They had many adventures to parks, coffee and juice and to see the local cat in the cat store. They love the double stroller in which they play, nap and goof off.

Much Needed Update

Since moving to Madison, it seems like we have been going none stop. Moving in, a bit of travel, settling into a new job, outings with family, etc. At a recent retreat, I caught the peaceful picture of Malcolm and Tom, walking together to the park. We had a great time and the students enjoyed having a child around.

To the right, you can see Malcolm and Henry playing in the bubbles. This is one of their favorite things to do as they "help us clean up" after dinner. As you can see, they really get into the bubbles, splashing, and getting everything wet and bubbly! Usually by the end, Malcolm is just down to his diaper because he doesn't like wearing wet clothes.
